Are you ready to elevate your career as a Hydrographic Surveyor while exploring the world’s waterways? We’re seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a staff position, working 120–180 days offshore annually.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Surveys: Perform precise hydrographic surveys, including seabed mapping, pipeline, and cable route surveys, and other offshore operations.
- Operate Equipment: Set up, calibrate, and operate survey equipment such as multibeam echo sounders, side-scan sonars, and positioning systems.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data to ensure accurate results for client deliverables.
- Maintain Standards: Adhere to quality control protocols and industry standards to deliver reliable and accurate survey results.
- Report Generation: Prepare and present comprehensive reports and charts based on survey findings.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other offshore professionals to meet project goals.
- Ensure Safety: Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols during offshore operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain survey equipment to ensure optimal performance during offshore projects.
- Problem Solving: Address technical challenges and adapt to dynamic offshore conditions.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of advancements in hydrographic technology and practices to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hydrographic surveying.
- Familiarity with offshore environments and a willingness to commit to 120–180 days offshore.
