You’ll play a pivotal role in producing high-quality tender submissions, driving commercial success, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. This UK-based role is ideal for someone passionate about tendering processes and thrives in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality tender submissions while adhering to all internal processes and approvals.
- Prepare cost estimates ensuring all aspects are accurately captured.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align proposals with client requirements.
- Liaise and negotiate with third-party suppliers and vessel brokers for competitive quotes.
- Write comprehensive proposal documents, integrating information from Engineering, QHSE, and Legal teams.
- Host and attend internal and external tender meetings as required.
- Address tender clarifications and consolidate responses.
- Ensure smooth handover from tendering to operations, capturing all requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks with senior team assistance when necessary.
- Review and qualify commercial/contractual elements, assisting with negotiations.
- Manage and control the tender process, adhering to deadlines and ITT requirements.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a tendering environment, preferably within ROV, Diving, or Survey sectors (preferred but not essential).
- Understanding of the full tender lifecycle, including cost modeling and proposal development.
- Relevant commercial and contractual experience, with the ability to assess and qualify terms effectively.
- Technical and Analytical Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex tender requirements and identify optimal approaches.
- Skilled in developing cost models, reviewing components, and confidently presenting findings.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Communication:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing compelling, high-quality tenders.
- Confident in negotiating with suppliers, vessel brokers, and clients to achieve competitive outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate across departments, ensuring information is accurately sourced and incorporated into submissions.
- Personal Attributes:

- Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
