We’re seeking a dedicated Trades Manager to join our dynamic Property Services team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled tradespeople and external contractors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective property maintenance and improvements to our customers’ homes across South Hampshire. Experience working within Social Housing or similar environment would be advantageous.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled tradespeople and external contractors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective property maintenance and improvements to our customers’ homes across South Hampshire. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of 12+ in-house tradespeople
- Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of maintenance services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records
- Prioritize health and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations
- Develop strong relationships with residents and local communities
- Manage budgets and financial performance
- Implement innovative solutions to improve service delivery
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in managing direct labor workforce teams
- Strong understanding of property maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
