Proterra designs and manufactures electric buses, and is focused on creating environmentally-friendly, zero-emission buses powered by lithium-ion battery packs. Proterra’s buses are used by various transit agencies across the U.S. and around the world to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. The company is at the forefront of advancing battery technology and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

UNDERSTANDING THEIR NEEDS
To make sure we had a full appreciation of their requirements, we maintained close liaison with key stakeholders from the beginning and throughout the project life cycles, via regular calls, Teams meetings and site visits. A dedicated Project Manager was appointed at site to drive and report on progress. We maintained open lines of communication and stayed agile to the needs of the projects. These were the foundations of our success.
IDENTIFYING THE CHALLENGES
All candidates had to be fully onboarded from day one of role commencement, with DBS checks completed and certificates and qualifications verified. This is a time-consuming, labour-intensive process.
